ConstrictX™ is a Single use, Self-Locking, Adjustable, Urethral Constriction Band device designed for in- office treatment of male Urinary Incontinence. The Constriction Band Device consists of central section of flexible, knitted mesh, manufactured from biocompatible, polypropylene monofilaments and self –locking, adjustable, constriction bands made from Polypropylene or bioabsorbable polymer material. The urethral constriction band device can be delivered underneath the bulbar urethra, using curved introducer, through single perineal incision. The adjustable, constriction band, upon tightening can provide necessary urethral support and constriction of male urethra, to prevent involuntary urine leakage. The self-locking constriction bands once inserted into the anchor slot in the Polypropylene mesh anchor can be tighten to provide variable tension and urethral constriction at the top, bottom and middle section of bulbar urethra. The Self –Locking, adjustable bands provides excellent constriction means and necessary support to the male urethra until more permanent urethral support is developed by natural tissue fibrosis process. The Adjustable Urethral Constriction band is designed to provide urethral constriction and intra-operative tension adjustment by physician, to achieve desired clinical outcome in male patients, following prostate surgery.

The Single incision, Self-locking, Adjustable Constriction Band Implantation procedure for male incontinence treatment is much safer for the patient and easier for physician to master, since it does not require insertion of long introducer needles, via Trans- Obturator delivery approach, commonly associated with risk of injury to the pelvic body organs, critical nerves and vascular structure. The Single incision procedure with ConstrictX device also minimizes the risk of accidental damage to pelvic body organs and bladder perforation and eliminates the need for additional cystoscopy. The ConstrictX band device can be implanted around the male urethra with ease and accuracy. The urethral tension and constriction can be adjusted along the length of the urethra, by pulling each self-locking band independently at the top, middle and bottom position around the urethra. The ConstrictX implantation procedure can be carried out in comfort of physician's office or in an outpatient surgery center with local or regional anesthesia.
