Easy Fix™ - Bioabsorbable Tissue Fixation Anchors and Delivery System for Surgical Mesh Fixation.

 

Easy Lift™ - Single Incision, Pelvic Organ Repair and Reconstruction Surgical System consists of Trans- vaginal delivery of Surgical mesh, Easy Fix™- Self –anchoring Tissue Fixation Anchors with side prongs and 5.0mm diameter, Multiple Anchor Delivery device compatible with all commercially available polymer mesh, grafts and biological tissue matrix. The Bioabsorbable, Self anchoring tissue fixation anchors with side prongs can be attached to the commercially available Polypropylene Surgical mesh and the target tissue, simply by activating the pistol grip handle mechanism. The ‘Easy Fix’ Tissue fixation anchors are made of Bioabsorbable co-polymer  ( PLLA+ PGA + PCL) with bio-absorption profile of 16 -18 months. The Surgical mesh can be delivered via single vaginal incision in to anterior region of the pelvic floor using Anchor Delivery device. The Anchor Delivery device with partially exposed anchor tip can secure and deliver the surgical mesh extensions to the anterior target tissue or ligament in the pelvic floor region. Once positioned at the target tissue  or ligament, the anchor can be deployed to fix the surgical mesh into the tissue,  simply by activating the handle mechanism .The Anchor delivery system with pre-loaded ,multiple anchors can be used for surgical mesh fixation at various location in pelvic floor region, without any delay or change of instruments. The bioabsorbable anchors delivery system offers an cost effective option for Surgical mesh fixation to support prolapsed pelvic body organs , including bladder, rectum, colon, uterus and vagina.

The Easy Lift™ - Single Incision, Pelvic Organ Repair and Reconstruction Surgical System with Easy –Fix™  Boabsorbable  Anchor configurations is designed for a single vaginal incision, minimally invasive surgical treatment for surgical repair & reconstruction of pelvic floor organs including Vaginal vault prolapse, Bladder prolapse (Cystocele) or Rectal prolapse (Rectocele),Uterine prolapse, Small bowel prolapse ( Enterocele), using polypropylene mesh or biological tissue matrix.

The current products and surgical methods for Pelvic Floor repair and reconstruction consists of surgical mesh placement using multiple long needles or suture placement in patient’s pelvic floor region. All of these treatments require general anesthesia to ease the painful multiple needle insertion with sharp, long needles in the vicinity of critical body organs and nerves in pelvic floor region. These long needles and suture devices also present potential risk of nerve injury and perforation of the critical pelvic body organs during the surgical procedure. Furthermore, the surgical procedure involving multiple insertion and retrieval of the needles and suture devices is a complex and time consuming process.
